A typical feature of our territory is the endless succession of hills which, before reaching the Apennine watershed, break up into winding valleys, where dense forests of Turkey oak and oak cover not only the slopes but also the valley floors, giving the impression of a primeval landscape.
Through the state-owned forest of Pietralunga-Bocca Serriola you can take suggestive nature walks in an area rich in biological diversity, including valleys, hills and extraordinary landscapes. You will walk through woods rich in wildlife, along ancient communication routes that wind around the small medieval villages of Pietralunga and Montone.
Finally, absolutely recommended are the visits to the art cities of Urbino, Gubbio and Assisi which are no more than an hour's drive from the house.
